Collaborating for Sustainable Water Management
Our Sustainability Business Partner, Catie, attended the Norfolk & CamEO Collective Action Project Water Stewardship Supplier Group yesterday. It was great to learn about the project’s positive impacts and discuss the challenges and opportunities for sustainable water management in one of the world’s most critical fresh food sourcing catchments.
Manor Fresh has been involved with this project for the last 2 years as part of our commitment to the WRAP Water Roadmap and our wider alignment with the UK Food and Drink Pact. With nearly 25% of our UK potato supply sourced from this region, we recognise our responsibility to help improve water quality, availability, and resilience.
A huge thank you to WRAP, the Norfolk Rivers Trust, and Water Resources East for hosting such an insightful and collaborative meeting. We look forward to continuing to support progress towards more resilient, water-efficient farming across the region.
