Grader Operator/Forklift Driver

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Yard & Grading Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing yard and grading operations, managing forklift and product flow activities, and leading and developing the yard and grading team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day yard and grading operations.
• Lead, motivate, and support the yard and grading team.
• Oversee forklift movements, yard traffic, and line-filling activities.
• Monitor grading standards and team performance against KPIs.
• Promote and maintain Health & Safety standards.
• Support and cover the Stock & Store Manager when required.
• Ensure yard organisation, efficiency, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in fresh produce, agriculture, warehouse, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Hands-on, proactive approach.
• Basic IT and computer skills.
• Flexible and reliable with your own transport, due to our rural location.

Desirable:

• Experience on Prophet or similar consignment-based system.
• Willingness to learn stock and store management processes to support future development.
