Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 -17:00

Salary: Competitive Salary

As a procurement planner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the procurement team over two categories (potatoes and vegetables) by ensuring efficient order management and maintaining accurate stock levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyse customer forecasts and communicate to the supply base.
  • Create, review and process purchase orders accurately and timely adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Organise haulage for planned deliveries and collections.
  • Maintain open communication with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery dates and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Match invoices and enter the grower return data into the ERP system.
  • Oversee and coordinate stock transfer activities, ensuring accurate tracking and timely completion.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives.

Essential:

  • Motivated self-starter.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Strong communication and conversational skills at all levels.
  • Attention to detail, numeracy and literacy together with Excel, Word and Powerpoint etc.
  • Driving Licence.

Desirable:

  • Strong administrative skills.
  • FMCG experience
